Unity Athens Movie Night – Sun Mar 14, starting at 6:30 and going to 8:30 or so.  Join us to watch a just-released Abraham-Hicks DVD: "The Law of Attraction in Action, episode 11"  on our big-screen TV in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.  Bring your own snacks, if you like.  Movies are usually followed by lively discussions about what resonated with us from the film.  More details on the DVD at www.Abraham-Hicks.com. 

 

Sun March 21 - 11:00 Service, "Lucky, Lucky You"  How Lucky are You?  Is there even such a thing as luck in a Universe that we co-create in?  Music by Athens duo (and Unity Athens favorites!), John Miley and Dave Spivey. There will be a potluck right after the service, and then a workshop at 2:00 by Rev. Mary Covington, "Introduction to the Old Testament."  Rev. Mary is an awesome teacher of the Bible!  Love offering basis

ONGOING ~ EVERY SUNDAY!  9:30 a.m. The Adult Study Group meets from 9:30 to 10:30.  We listen to and discuss brief excerpts from Abraham-Hicks workshops on CD and share our insights about the powerful Law of Attraction, The Vortex, and The Art of Allowing in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. This is a free class and there are handouts to take home weekly.  Time for meditation is included.

 

April 4 - Easter Sunday at Unity Athens  
9:00 to 9:45 - Early Meditative Service. Quiet music, mood, meditation. Join Rev. Bronte and some of our new Chaplain interns for a contemplative start to your day.

     (No Abraham-Hicks class will be held on Easter Sunday)

10:15 - 10:55  "Drumming on the Porch" - Bring a drum or share ours.
10:30 to 11:00 -  Potluck  Breakfast  - bring a dish if you like, but there's always enough to go around
11:00 - Our Easter Sunday service. Join us for a Unity Easter with a trans-denominational message, uplifting music, and Joy!

April 25 - Pet Blessing Sunday -- We'll have a pet blessing (all pets will remain outside) at the end of the service, following by a picnic at Sandy Creek Park.  Pet owners and appreciators are all welcome! More details to come.

 

  ONGOING SUNDAYS!  A COURSE IN MIRACLES - 2:00-3:30.   Unity Athens hosts a study group on the popular A Course in Miracles at The Carson Center every Sunday. Experienced Course facilitator Drew Smith of Unity Christ Center, Suwannee, brings energy, insight, and love to leading this weekly group. His enthusiasm and insight open doorways of understanding to the text. You need not be a former or current student of A Course to be in this class – every week brings its own unique insights.  Love offering and donations appreciated!   Open to all spiritual beliefs.  We hope to see you here!

 

Small Group Gatherings - A number of Unity Athens folks and people in the Chaplain Training Program have started small groups that meet during the week at their homes or other "outside" locations.  There is a Sunday night Knitting Group, a Monday night Meditation Group, a Tuesday night Positive Thinking Group, a Walking Group in Watkinsville, a Dancing / EFT Group, and more forming!  Stop in at Unity Athens for more information on these groups, or email us at UnityAthens@GMail.com.
