If you had only one hour, what would you ask the Dalai Lama?  Enjoy and learn from "one man's journey through the Himalayas."  “10 Questions” is a winner of numerous film awards, including "Inspiration Award Winner" and "Compassionate Vision Award Winner."  Note: While this movie does include some depictions of the appearance of violence in Tibet's history, it is highly inspiring and balanced with forgiveness and peace.

And soooo much more!

Unity Athens movies are often followed with lively discussions about what resonated with us and how we use these techniques in our lives. We hope to see you at Movie Night!  Next month’s Movie Night will be August 10.

Suggested Love Offering / Donation   $5.00 per movie or $8.00 for both. No one turned away for lack of funds. Refreshments will be available.

About Dada:

Dada Nabhaniilananda plays melodic folk rock in the style of Simon & Garfunkel or Cat Stevens – something he calls “spiritual eco-folk”. He sings about spiritual experiences and derives many of his ideas from myths and legends of different cultures. Dadas’ performance is a multi-media experience. He illustrates his songs with related images, creating a dream-like atmosphere as he seamlessly combines music, visuals, storytelling, humor, chanting, and meditation, in an experience that touches the heart.

Dada will be giving the Sunday morning message and performing his music during our service.  They he will facilitate an afternoon workshop from 2 to 5, which will include his music and  in-depth focus on meditation, titled: Close Your Eyes & Open Your Mind – An Introduction to Spiritual Meditation

Based on Dada’s popular book of the same title, in this workshop Dada explains the difference between relaxation and spiritual meditation, the power of mantra in meditation, the difference between prayer and meditation, and the historical connections between Christian mysticism and yoga. The group will learn a  universal mantra which can be used for chanting and meditation.
